How do you say "Roller Coaster" in Japanese??

It's not easy to retain vocabulary and expressions when you're studying a language, and it's especially difficult to get words out on the spot when you're having conversations. I hope these weekly posts could be good practice for your Japanese studies!!

The question for today is: How do you say "Roller Coaster" in Japanese??

The answer is...

ジェットコースター [Jet Coaster]

Jet coaster is the Japanese way to say roller coaster, and although Japanese people would understand what you're talking about when you say roller coaster, it is common to simply say jet coaster.

Writer's note: My favorite ride is Tatsu in Six Flags Magic Mountain in Los Angeles. What's your favorite ride?
