It's not easy to retain vocabulary and expressions when studying a language, and it's challenging to get words out on the spot when you're having conversations. I hope these weekly posts could be good practice for your Japanese studies!!
The question for today is: How do you say "Eco-friendly" in Japanese??

エコ [Ehko]
It's quite obvious that the word "Eko" comes from Eco-friendly, but be careful on how to pronounce the word. It's pronounced "Eh-Ko", not "Eeko" like we're used to.
Another way to say eco-friendly is...
環境にやさしい [Kankyou ni Yasashii] literally means "nice to the environment"
環境 [Kankyou] means environment
やさしい [Yasashii] means nice
Writer's note: If anyone has a spare tesla they don't need, let me know. I want to be eco-friendly too.
