It's not easy to retain vocabulary and expressions when you're studying a language, and it's especially difficult to get words out on the spot when you're having conversations. I hope these weekly posts could be good practice for your Japanese, and let's take it one word at a time.
The question for today is: How do you say "Sometimes" in Japanese??

The answer is...
時々 [Tokidoki]
時折 [Tokiori]
Both have the meaning of sometimes, but tokiori is a bit more formal than tokidoki.
Example sentence:
時々公園に行きます(tokidoki kouen ni ikimasu)
[Sometimes, I go to the park]
Writer's note: I had a friend who loved the Tokidoki brand and would always have Tokidoki accessories. I'm not really about the unicorn, but the cactus girl is pretty cute.
Also, I had no idea what picture to use so I put up a picture of a random stressed person but I kind of regret it now.
